It's fall in the Cedar Valley. While this week will be glorious weather wise, here in Iowa we get a few beautiful fall days... and the same or more miserable ones. Not to mention, winter will be here soon enough. As we wade through the COVID-19 pandemic, many Iowans, myself included, are nervous about sitting indoors. As a result, many restaurants have either upped their patio game or, like with Whiskey Road on Main, added outdoor seating. Sadly, that won't soon be an option as the weather turns on us.

Iowa's News Now reminds us the governors 50% capacity restriction(s) remain in place, meaning even people who are comfortable dining in, will have to remain patient in some instances if their favorite restaurant is full. Between customers passing on eating inside, and customers not willing to wait, now is the time to support local Restaurants. Most all restaurants in the Cedar Valley offer delivery or curbside pickup. Both great options that allow you to dine at home, and still enjoy your fav. restaurants. You can also try new food spots this way, and maybe add a new favorite to your dining rotation!

If additional apps aren't your thing, it's always worth calling the restaurant itself up and asking if they offer delivery or curbside pickup.
