A Westgate motorist has been arrested early this (Tuesday) morning on several driving violations.

Shortly after 1am, a Fayette County deputy stopped a car for a traffic violation. After investigating, the driver, 42 year old Michael Rover, was taken into custody for OWI 1st Offense, failure to obey a stop sign, and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

An Oelwein man, 47 year old Raymond Ohl, faces drug and other charges. On Sunday, the Fayette County Sheriff arrested Ohl at a residence on Neon Road, on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. On Monday, Ohl was transferred to the custody of the U.S. Marshall service, to appear in federal court.

And a rural Fayette man, 33 year old Torrey Willie, was taken into custody Saturday on a Fayette County warrant for failure to appear in court.
