Oelwein Police Make Arrests, Write Citations

Oelwein Police report recent citations issued to some area residents.

At about 3am Monday, officers were called to a disturbance in the 700 block of 1st Avenue SE. Following an investigation, 18 year old Isiah Heidt of Oelwein was charged with underage alcohol possession. Also 15 year old Aaron Eickhoff of Oelwein was referred to juvenile court services for the same offense.

Around 2:30am Saturday, Oelwein police were called to a disturbance in the 300 block of 3rd Avenue SE. On arrival, officers arrested 21 year old Jacob Snay of Oelwein for public intoxication.

An Oelwein man was cited during a traffic stop at about 1:30am Saturday, in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue SE. 26 year old Jordan Nehl was cited for driving while his license is suspended for non-payment of an Iowa fine.

Late Friday night, Oelwein police checked a home in the 200 block of East Charles for a wanted man. 33 year old Coby Euans of Oelwein was arrested on an indictment for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

And late Friday morning, Oelwein officers were called to the office of Adult Correction for a person who had arrived for an appointment, apparently intoxicated. After testing, 34 year old Brian Miller of Sumner was arrested for public intoxication second offense.
