Christmas Day Accident in Tripoli

A Pennsylvania woman is being charged with causing a traffic accident in Tripoli on Christmas Day.

At about 1pm Tuesday (Dec. 25), deputies from the Bremer County Sheriff's Office were called to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 93 and 7th Street in the city of Tripoli.

An investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 45 year old Cristy Jo Abbott of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, failed to yield to another vehicle, driven by 88 year old Erwin Koschmeder of Readlyn.

No one was injured; Abbott has been charged with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign, and Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
