National Ag Day is next Wednesday - March 18th - and the United Soybean Board says there’s no better time to engage consumers with the true story of American agriculture. USB Communications Target Area Coordinator and U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance Chair Nancy Kavazanjian says it’s natural for consumers to have questions about where their food comes from and how farmers are producing it. Kavazanjian says that provides farmers with an opportunity to share their stories in honest, simple ways and show that they share consumers’ values.

The soy checkoff works with the Center for Food Integrity, CommonGround and USFRA by providing resources to help them do just that. CFI provides consumer research at food integrity dot org slash research slash 2014 dash research (www.foodintegrity.org/research/2014-research).

CommonGround volunteers have resources to help women farmers connect with mothers at Find Our CommonGround dot com (www.FindOurCommonGround.com).

USFRA not only hosts Food Dialogues - but also supported the production of the documentary FARMLAND - which is now available at Walmart, Netflix and other outlets. Visit Food Dialogues dot com (www.fooddialogues.com) for more information.
