Police Arrest Oelwein Couple on Outstanding Warrants

An Oelwein couple has been arrested on outstanding warrants from Buchanan County.

At about 10pm Wednesday (June 26), Oelwein Police took 32 year old Dillon Sommerfelt into custody, on a Buchanan County warrant for Assault.

And 29 year old Brooke Sommerfelt was arrested on two Buchanan County warrants: for Assault with Injury, and Interference with Official Acts.

The arrests were made after police had an interaction with the couple in the 300 block of 1st Avenue NW.
