
Waterloo Work Release Inmate Missing
Authorities are trying to locate a missing prisoner.
According to Iowa Department of Corrections officials, 18-year-old Dana Scott, Jr., failed to report back to the Waterloo Residential Facility following a work release assignment Monday night. Corrections officials said Scott was admitted to the work release facility on May 30.
Authorities provided a description of missing inmate in a news release. Scott is a 5-foot, 11-inch black man, who weights about 157 pounds.
Officials said Scott was serving time for a second-degree robbery conviction in Black Hawk County.
Anyone with information on Scott's whereabouts should contact local police.
