Oelwein Police Make a Weekend Arrest, And Look Into Theft

Oelwein Police have arrested a local man after an incident in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.

Shortly after 12am Saturday (Nov. 21), Oelwein Officers took 23 year old Isiah Heidt into custody, on charges of Interference with Official Acts, and Public Intoxication.

The Police Department is also investigating a theft. It was reported just before 5pm Friday, in the 100 block of 1st Avenue SE in Oelwein. No other information was available.
