Oelwein Police Investigate a Theft and a Burglary

A break-in and a separate theft are under investigation in Oelwein.

Just before 8pm Thursday (May 21), Oelwein Police were called to the 700 block of South Frederick Avenue, on the report of a burglary.

And officers were summoned at 10pm Thursday, to look into a theft in the 10 block of 20th Street SE.

No other information was given.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
