Even from a distance, this animal looks soooooo fluffy!

Leigh T. lives in Moville, Iowa is still completely stumped by a creature she caught on her property one day.

Moville is a town located in Northwestern, Iowa and is apparently home to mysterious and rather fluffy looking animals.

The woman recorded this creature (from a very safe distance) just strolling on through a field. Due to her being so far away from the animal, she could not quite figure out exactly what it was.

In a post she made to an Iowa Facebook group called 'I grew up in Iowa' Leigh claimed that it's the second time that she's seen the animal on her family's farm.

It appeared to be walking with a limp and according to Leigh, "Definitely wasn't afraid of us."

What Exactly Could It Be?

The comments were lighting up with guesses on what exactly this creature could be.

Someone suggested a little baby calf others guessed some sort of big cat.

From my perspective it does seem to be a large feline.

So, I did some digging....

What types of big cats are in Iowa?

According to reports, there are three types of wild cats that can be found in Iowa.

There is the bobcat...

According to the Smithsonian's National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute, these animals are brown or reddish with brown or black spots/stripes.

So, it doesn't seem like this mystery creature could be a bobcat.

Another big cat that can be found in the Hawkeye State is the lynx...

According to PBS, lynxes can come in various colors depending on their species.

Some are medium brown while others can be goldish or even beige, white.

However, ALL lynxes have white fur on their bellies and the inside of their legs.

Guess what this mystery animal doesn't have?

WHITE TUFTS!

We can rule out the lynx then!

Another possibility could be the mountain lion!

Mountain lions are probably a bit bigger than the creature we see in the clip.

They are also known to have a solid tawny color coat with darker hair on the back and a white underside, according to the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.

While I'm no expert on big cats, I'm pretty sure this guy or gal is none of these animals.

If they showed up closer to Cedar Falls or Waterloo, I'd believe that it was the University of Northern Iowa's mascot TK who got loose!
