According to data gathered by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), 'Bigfoot' has been spotted in every single state in the country.

Washington has had the most reported sightings of the creature, with 666. The most recent sighting occurred on New Year's Day, 2019.

California and Florida have the second and third-most sightings, followed by Illinois and Ohio.

Delaware and Rhode Island have the lowest numbers of Bigfoot sightings.

What about Iowa? The Hawkeye state has had 76 reported sightings of the creature. The most recent was in 2017 in Chickasaw County, near Protivin.

In all, 34 of Iowa's 99 counties have reported at least one sighting. Humboldt County leads the state with 9 sightings.

According to the BFRO, there has NEVER been a reported Bigfoot sighting in Black Hawk County.
