Oelwein Man Arrested After Incident

An Oelwein man was arrested late last night (Tuesday, July 9) following an incident on the northwest side of town.

Oelwein Police responded to the incident at about 11:30pm in the 100 block of 8th Avenue NW. 49 year old Jimmy Campbell was taken into custody on a charge of Disorderly Conduct.

And Oelwein Police are looking into a theft on the southeast side of Oelwein. At about 1pm Tuesday, authorities were alerted of a theft in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE. No other information was released.
