Flags Will Be Flown At Half Staff To Honor Anamosa State Penitentiary Staff Killed
On Monday, flags will be flown at half staff to honor the individuals who were killed in the deadly attack at Anamosa State Penitentiary. Two staff members died at the hands of inmates at the facility.
Governor Kim Reynolds made the order Saturday to have this solemn showing of statewide solidarity, according to the Associated Press. Reynolds said that all of Iowa "grieves the loss" of both of the staff members' lives.

Lorena Schulte and Robert McFarland, the two staff members of the penitentiary will be laid to rest on Monday, and for the Governor this seems reason enough to pay respects.
