The Upper Iowa Peacocks look to highlight the school's 100th Homecoming with a victory over Winona State Saturday afternoon (Oct. 8, 2016).

The Peacocks come into the contest with a refocused offense that has scored 76 points while rolling up 1,036 yards of total offense in the last two games. Defensively, Upper Iowa carries the third-highest sack total in the Northern Sun Conference (NSIC) with 17 and will need some big plays to upset the Warriors.

Winona State comes in as one of the best teams in the NSIC. The Warriors are just three points away from being undefeated. The only blemish on their schedule was a 34-31 setback at Minnesota-Duluth in week two. Upper Iowa carries the third highest sack total in the NSIC with 17 and will need some big plays to upset Winona State.

Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. at Harms-Eischeid Stadium in Fayette.

The Upper Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducting five new members after the game. They are Gary Peterson (1965), James Rarick (1999), Clint Rodgers (1996), Dwight Spangler (1966) and Jesus Wilson (2004).

Upper Iowa football can be heard throughout the 2016 season on AM-950 KOEL with play-by-play announcer Joe Stasi, who's currently in his 14th season as the "Voice of the Peacocks" and 16th overall. This week he will be joined by Chris Shaw, a two-time graduate of Upper Iowa with an undergraduate degree in sports communications and a graduate degree in higher education administration. Shaw, worked in the UIU Sports Communication Office for five years, including two as a graduate assistant for current Director of Sports Communication Howie Thompson.

The AM-950 KOEL pre-game show is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
