
Minnesota Man Dies After Smashing Car Into Light Pole
Champlin, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Twin Cities area man lost his life after smashing the car he was driving into a light pole over the weekend.

The State Patrol responded to the deadly incident early Sunday morning. It was a single-vehicle fatality and the driver was the only person involved.
First responders found the driver unresponsive at the crash scene, the State Patrol says.

Anoka Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Light Pole at Champlin, MN Intersection
The deadly single-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 169 and West River Rd. in Champlin.
The car was heading north on the four-lane divided highway when it left the road and collided with the light pole shortly before 4 a.m., the state crash report says.
35-year-old Adonis Raven Turner of Anoka was identified as the driver by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures, the State Patrol says.
Turner was not buckled up and it’s not known if alcohol was involved in the fatal crash, the state crash report indicates.
