Beef Checkoff Presents BQA and DBQA Awards

Last week - three producers receive the Beef Checkoff’s Beef Quality Assurance and Dairy Beef Quality Assurance award.

Also - one individual received the BQA Marketer Award - and another received the BQA Educator of the Year Award. These awards were created to recognize outstanding beef and dairy producers who incorporate BQA principles on their operations every day.

This year’s winners are Ira and Kim Brackett of Idaho; Bill and Nancy Couser of Iowa; Tim and Maria Forry and Chad and George Hurst of Pennsylvania; Joe Wright, Corey Rozenboom, Jeff Ewing and Bub Hoskins of Iowa; and Dr. Dan Thomson of Kansas State University.
