Area Man Injured, and Charged, in Vehicle Rollover

A St. Olaf man has been injured in a one-vehicle rollover this (Friday, July 6) morning, near Postville, in Fayette County.

The Fayette County Sheriff received a report of an accident at about 8:15am, near the intersection of Deerfield Road and 310th Street, near Postville.

49 year old Kirk Vigen had been driving north, when he lost control and ended up in the ditch. Vigen sustained minor injuries, and his vehicle, a 2006 Hummer SUV, had about $6,000 in damages.

Vigen is being charged with Failure to Maintain Control.
