The partnership between American Ethanol and Richard Childress Racing is being enhanced for the 2014 NASCAR season. Driver Austin Dillon will race the Number 3 American Ethanol Chevrolet SS in select races this season - starting with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at Phoenix International Raceway this Sunday, March 2nd. Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis says American Ethanol is extremely pleased to partner with Dillon, Richard Childress and the entire team to help promote a sustainable homegrown American fuel that’s better for the environment, reduces our dependence on foreign oil and creates jobs here in the U.S. while revitalizing rural economies and saving consumers at the pump. Dillon notes NASCAR drivers have run more than five-million competitive miles on Sunoco Green E15. He says he’s proud to wear the American Ethanol colors in NASCAR and hopes to bring them to Victory Lane in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2014. Source: NAFB News
