Young Man Dies in Accidental Shooting Near Clarksville

The Butler County Sheriff is reporting an accidental fatal shooting just outside of Clarksville.

Authorities were summoned by 911 call just before 5pm Thursday. There were 3 people at the scene, all under the age of 18. One of the boys has died after accidentally being shot. No other information was released.
The Butler County Sheriff was assisted by Clarksville Police, Iowa State Patrol, Clarksville EMS, and Waverly Paramedics.
