Young Boy Dies After Falling Out of Dad’s Pickup

Authorities in nearby Southwest Wisconsin are investigating how a young boy was killed in a traffic accident.

It happened Friday afternoon on Highway "C" near Woodman Township in Grant County.

45 year old Jason Wachter of Woodman was driving a pickup approaching the intersection with Highway 133, when the passenger door opened.

His son, 4 year old Kage Wachter, fell out, and was also hit by the rear tires of the pickup.

CPR was performed before an ambulance arrived, however Kage was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation by the Grant County Sheriff.
