If you hold tickets to a pair of shows at Des Moines' Wells Fargo Arena, KCRG reports that you will need to show proof of vaccination to get into the show.

This includes the Michael Buble show set to take place at Wells Fargo Arena on September 17 and a concert featuring singer James Taylor on December 8The actual requirement is to either have proof of vaccine or the ability to show proof of a negative Coronavirus test 72 hours prior.

Children under 12 who cannot currently be vaccinated will have to show a negative COVID test.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds banned what some call a "vaccine passport", where businesses could require proof of vaccination. It's been a delicate topic ever since, as venues continue to make their own decisions regarding requiring vaccine proof or not. Can they?

For their part, General Manager Chris Connolly of the Iowa Events Center said:

It’s not a vaccine passport. Again, if you’ve had your vaccine, and you show proof of vaccination, you gain entrance. And if you don’t for whatever reason want to get the vaccine or haven’t gotten it, all you have to do is take a COVID test and show that it’s negative within 72 hours, so either-or.”
