Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

The Humane Society of the United States is forming agriculture councils in different states.So far, there are ag councils in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Casey Langen says these new councils are just wolves in sheep’s clothing.

“There’s not animal experts on this council.  It’s just trying to confuse the general public with the formation of this group.  With the wolf issue.  HSUS is the group we can thank for tying up this wolf issue in the courts.  Right now, you cannot shoot a wolf that is attacking a calf or even a dog, thanks to that lawsuit.  Think about it.  These are the people that say they care about animal welfare, they are all for the animals.  And yet, they are putting pets and livestock around the state in danger, in the name of saving these wolves.”

Langen says HSUS is very inconsistent.  “This group, no matter what they say about that they care about the dogs and kitties out there from their sad commercials, their end goal is to decimate the livestock industry.”

Langen encourages everyone who wants to donate to help animals to do so locally - not through HSUS.
