Roadside attractions are always a fun sight when you're on a long drive across the country, and Wisconsin is home to some very unique ones.

As a child, each summer my dad would take at least two weeks off from work, and we would go on a long road trip. Some years it was all planned out, and others it was totally spontaneous. Either way was a lot of fun, and I looked forward to it every year.

No matter what the plan was or where we were going, my dad was always on the lookout for unusual roadside attractions to stop and visit. I think it was a nice break from driving for him, but he also enjoyed those adventures.

One state we always thought was a great place to find strange roadside attractions was Wisconsin. They know how to do it right. The crazier the better. One of these days, I'll have to go through the photos at my mom's house because I'm sure she has some good ones of roadside attractions.
