I don't necessarily believe in Bigfoot, but I enjoy the story and history of the creature. I just think if it were real, someone would've had a meaningful encounter with the beast, especially with the technology available today.

Though there have been Bigfoot sightings throughout the United States, it seems like the creature lives in the northwest part of the country. Now, there are more and more sightings in Wisconsin. It makes sense, there are a lot of forests in that area.

According to WJFW...

The Northwoods, and Rhinelander in particular, have a mythical creature woven into its local history: The Hodag.

However, the Northwoods is a hotspot for another creature that has captivated the imagination of people not only in Wisconsin, but across the country.

Pretty much every county in that part of Wisconsin has reported multiple Bigfoot sightings. One particular area has had twenty individual encounters. Maybe this summer, you can take a road trip up north and try to catch of glimpse of one of those creatures. Don't bother taking a picture, because it will just turn out blurry.
