Fayette County authorities continue to investigate a case involving illegal narcotic activity in West Union that resulted in one arrest last week.

Sheriff's officials took Herman Ronnfelt, 53, into custody on multiple charges after a search of his home on Wednesday (Dec. 12, 2018). He was transported to the Fayette County Jail.

Ronnfelt was charged with a controlled substance violation-methamphetamine (Class B felony), failure to affix a drug tax stamp (D felony), gathering where controlled substances are unlawfully used (D Felony), possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine (D Felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).

Sheriff's officials said the case remains investigation and more charges may be filed at a later time.
