Weather conditions were contributing factors in 2 Fayette County rollover accidents Monday (Dec. 9).


The first accident was reported to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office at about 8am Monday, on Apple Road near Clermont. A car driven by a 17 year old girl from Elgin went out of control due to the adverse road conditions, entered a ditch, and rolled onto it's top. No one was injured, but the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix was totaled.

The 2nd accident was reported to the sheriff at about 12:30pm Monday, on Vine Road, north of Waucoma. 22 year old Aaron Shaber-Twedt of Decorah lost control, also due to the slick road, went into the ditch, and rolled, coming to rest on it's top. No one was injured, but the 2012 Toyota Scion was a total loss.
Both accidents remain under investigation.
