[Watch] A Lost Island Slide Gets a Glow-Up

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but summer is pretty much over and done with. For many of our favorite summertime spots and attractions that also means that they'll either be closed for the season or operating on limited hours.

Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo is just one of those seasonal spots. While the waterpark is closed, there are still opportunities for you to go to the park. The facility's golf and go-carts are open and available on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

On Saturday, the gold and carts hours are 2:00 PM- 9:00 PM and on Sunday the hours are 2:00 PM-7:00 PM.

However, if you miss the waterslides as much as the rest of us, you can watch them get a bit of a makeover on this Tik Tok account. This group called Slide Guys Restoration go around to various parks and attractions and work to restore slides.

From the looks of their page they've visited Georgia and have done some of their slide resoration magic on the Great Wolf Lodge out there. On their official website, the Slide Guys boast about their speciality in dealing with and restoring fiberglass on these slides.

Lost Island is also currently in the midst of building an amusement park addition.

In the meantime, feel free to enjoy the work that is being put into the waterslides at the beloved Waterloo waterpark. You can watch the entire video down below! It is kind of mesmerizing to look at.
