Tyson Foods’ CFO Arrested After Falling Asleep In A Stranger’s Bed
I guess sometimes when you are drunk and tired… you sometimes don’t realize what you are doing, or even going in this case. But to mix up where your bed is… with a bed in another home…
That’s what happened over the weekend with Tyson Foods’ chief financial officer John Tyson. He was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly becoming intoxicated and crawling into bed and sleeping in the wrong home.
In an article in WHO, the preliminary arrest reports say that Tyson was found asleep at 2 a.m. in a woman’s bed in her own him in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her home was located 10 miles away from Tyson Foods’ Springdale headquarters.
According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the woman came home early Sunday morning to find Tyson, a man she did not know, asleep in her bed.
When the woman found Tyson, she called the police. Upon arrival, police used Tyson’s driver’s license to identify him. Police tried to wake Tyson but to no avail. After briefly sitting up, he then laid back down and tried to fall back asleep.
She told police that she believes the front door was left unlocked.
According to the WHO article, the police report says that the officers found the odor of alcohol on his breath and body.
Tyson was arrested and according to detainee information from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, he was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing. He was released from the center Sunday evening.
Tyson was only named the CFO of Tyson Foods in September of this year.
