
Two Injured In Black Hawk County Crash
Two people suffered injuries in a Sunday afternoon accident near Jesup.
The one-vehicle mishap occurred around 5:30 PM in the 7000 block of North Black Hawk-Buchanan Avenue, about three-and-a-half miles northwest of the city. According to Black Hawk County sheriff’s officials, the vehicle went off the road and came to stop in a ditch.
They identified the driver as an adult male from Robins. A juvenile was also riding in the vehicle, but authorities did not release any names.
Sheriff’s officials said the driver and passenger both suffered unknown injuries. They were transported to a Waterloo hospital for treatment.
