Sheriff Arrests 2 Oelwein People on Separate Warrants

Two Oelwein residents have been arrested by the Fayette County Sheriff, in connection with separate incidents.

On Thursday, Jan. 2nd at about 1pm, deputies took 44 year old Christina Heins into custody on a Fayette County warrant for Theft 5th Degree. She was held in the county jail on $500 cash bond.

And on Monday, Jan. 5, just before 11:30am, the sheriff arrested 50 year old Scott Peltier at an Oelwein residence, for a Fayette County warrant, for a Sex Offender Registry Violation: he is accused of providing false information. Peltier was held on $5,000 bond in the Fayette County Jail.
