Another bone-chilling day has led to numerous school closings and 2-hour delays. We've listed all area schools below. As a reminder, the main reason is the frigid temps.

When it comes to frostbite, it can vary from person to person but once temps drop into sub-zero territory, it only takes around 30 minutes for exposed skin to get frostbite. At colder than 25 below with some wind, which we are experiencing in parts of easter Iowa this morning, frostbite is possible within only 15 minutes.
