Rural Westgate Accident Early Friday, Totals SUV

The Fayette County Sheriff reports that a young driver totaled his vehicle in an accident early Friday.

At about 3:15 AM, the sheriff's officials were alerted of a one vehicle traffic accident at 120th Street and County Road V-62, between Sumner and Westgate.

A 17 year old motorist, whose name was not released, lost control of his Sport Utility Vehicle, drove off the road and rolled the vehicle onto it's side.

The driver was not injured, but the 2007 Suzuki SUV was totaled.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted at the scene by the Westgate Fire and EMS.
