OWI, Theft, and Abatement Citations Issued

Oelwein Police have arrested a Wisconsin man early this (Thursday, July 28) morning.
At about 2am, officers pulled over a car in the 200 block of 1st Avenue SE. The driver, 23 year old Joshua Van Pay of Green Bay, was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated.

Two area juveniles face charges for an alleged theft. Just after 10pm Wednesday (July 27), Oelwein Police arrested the two girls for a theft in the 300 block of 7th Street SE. They were referred to Juvenile Court Services on a charge of 3rd degree theft.

And Oelwein Police issued a citation to 59 year old David Latham for Failure to Abate per Order, for a property in the 600 block of 1st Street NE.
