Oelwein PD Investigates Saturday Eve Incidents

Oelwein Police are looking into reports of a theft and some vandalism, from Saturday evening.

Just before 4:30pm, officers were first called to the 400 block of 5th Avenue SE on a report of Criminal Mischief.

About 90 minutes later, Oelwein Police were alerted of a theft in the 10 block of 2nd Avenue SW.

No other information was released.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
