Oelwein P.D. Makes O.W.I. Arrest, Investigates Vandalism

A local motorist has been arrested on a driving violation.

At about 4:15pm Wednesday (April 28), Oelwein Police pulled over a vehicle in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE. The driver, 43 year old Jason Flynn of Oelwein, was taken into custody on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated.

Oelwein Police are also investigating a vandalism. Just before 7:30pm Wednesday, officers were called to the 200 block of 7th Street NE, on the report of some Criminal Mischief.
