The 2015 football season comes to end for the Upper Iowa Peacocks on Saturday (Nov. 14, 2015).

It's Senior Day for the Peacocks (6-4 overall, 3-3 NSIC South) at Harms-Eischeid Stadium in Fayette, where they host No. 17 University of Sioux Falls (8-2, 4-2 NSIC South). Kick-off is scheduled at noon.

Upper Iowa will honor 10 upperclassmen who will be playing their final game for the Peacocks. The seniors to be recognized during a pre-game ceremony include Dakota Basten, Ryan Bubulka, Derek Hurschman, Jake Johnston, Joe McCaffery, Cody Nilges, Brandon Rogers, Jevell Rollins, Cole Stephen and Alex Wahl.

The group of young men have combined for 20 victories over the last four years and are hoping to end their careers with a 21st win on Saturday.

Upper Iowa is in search of its first seven-win season since 1997. The Peacocks, who secured their third-straight winning season last week with a 24-21 double-overtime victory at Wayne State (Neb.), will look to spoil the postseason plans of Sioux Falls, which is currently sitting in the final seat for a spot in the NCAA Division II regional playoffs.

The Cougars boast one of the top offenses in the country averaging 475.2 yards per game with 202 of those yards coming on the ground, but Upper Iowa features one of the stiffest run defenses in the nation as teams are averaging less than 90 yards a game on the ground.

Sioux Falls holds a 2-1 lead in the series, which began just three seasons ago. Last November, the Cougars raced out to a 38-0 lead midway through the third quarter en route to a 45-21 victory over Upper Iowa. Two years ago in Fayette, Chris Smith set the new single-season mark for rushing yards in a season in the Peacocks' 30-28 win over the Cougars.

In 2012's wild shootout in South Dakota, the nationally-ranked Cougars jumped all over the Peacocks for a 37-0 lead. Then, Upper Iowa quarterback Cole Jaeschke put the team on his right arm and rallied the Peacocks with the greatest passing performance in school history. He threw for 606 yards on 43 completions in 78 attempts, all three setting Peacock records. Sioux Falls held on for a 54-41 win in the series opener.

Upper Iowa football can be heard throughout the 2015 season on AM-950 KOEL with play-by-play announcer Joe Stasi, who's in his 13th season as the "Voice of the Peacocks." For the fourth consecutive year, Stasi will be joined on the broadcast by Zach Carlyle, a recent graduate (2015) of Upper Iowa. The pre-game show is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
