It’s National FFA Week, How Can You Help Support It?
Just One That is the theme for the 2019 National FFA week, running February 16-23.
Chapters from across the United States are impacting their communities by taking the time to host service projects that will make a difference for today, tomorrow and for more tomorrows to come.
The week is packed full of events from FFA members teaching underclassman and elementary students the importance of agriculture in their every day life. Members will visit state capitals to speak with state representatives about legislature bills, and how they will impact the future generations.
FFA members will create foods from their own gardens to share with others. Students will drive their tractors to school to show the community agriculture is alive and well.
Members need to see and feel your support too. Here’s how you can Give to FFA
Tuesday, February 19 is Give FFA Day. Just One Day. Just One FFA. This is an opportunity for others to donate to local and national FFA chapters and help the chapters flurish. To donate, contact your local FFA chapter or click the Give FFA Day link here.
As always, wear your BLUE on Friday this week to show FFA members you support them and to let others in your community be reminded the importance of agriculture education at every age. Wear FFA Blue by clicking to purchase.
