More Vehicles Stolen and Burglarized in Oelwein

The Oelwein Police Department continues to get reports of stolen vehicles, or vehicles that have been broken into.

Just before 7am Tuesday (March 27), authorities got a report of a stolen black 2003 Toyota Tundra pickup, which was taken in the 500 block of 8th Avenue NE, sometime overnight.

At around 7:30am Tuesday, someone reported that their 2004 grey Pontiac Grand Prix was taken from the 800 block of 6th Avenue NE. This vehicle has been recovered.

Also on Tuesday, police took 2 separate reports of items taken from vehicles. The first report came in at 5:05pm from the 400 block of 3rd Avenue SE; the second report was at 5:10pm, from the 800 block of 7th Avenue NE.

All of the incidents remain under investigation.
