
Man Injured In Fayette County Crash
An Elgin man suffered very serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Fayette County.
Sheriff's officials said 35-year-old Justin Limkemann was air-lifted to a La Crosse, Wis., hospital. They described his injuries as life-threatening.
The crash happened Friday around 4:30 AM on County Road B-64 near the intersection with "G" Ave., about four miles east of West Union. Deputies were sent to the scene on a report of a vehicle in the ditch.
Investigators believe Limkemann was traveling east when he lost control of the minivan, authorities said. The vehicle entered a ditch and rolled multiple times, ejecting Limkemann.
Officials said the accident remains under investigation.
Fayette County sheriff's deputies were assisted at the scene by West Union firefighters an Tri-State Ambulance.
