Man Dies In Hardin County Accident
Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on private property in Hardin County.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 81-year-old Vernon Caruth of Iowa Falls was killed Tuesday when the vehicle he was driving struck a tree and flipped over. The accident happened around 6 PM.
Caruth later died at the hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash, the Iowa State Patrol said.
In an accident report, authorities said they believe a medical condition caused the mishap.
