Country music legend Tanya Tucker had big plans of hitting the road in 2023. Unfortunately, those plans had to be put on pause due to some serious concerns.

Tucker ended up postponing two of her upcoming shows one of which was supposed to be in Iowa.

The show at Rhythm City Casino in Davenport was initially scheduled for Thursday, January 19th was rescheduled for March 24th. A show in Arkansas was also affected by the singer's medical emergency.

Tucker's doctor recommended that she rest after battling an infection that knocked her out for the count. All of the shows she had slated for February are slated to go on as planned. We will continue to keep you updated if anything changes.

The two time Grammy winner issued a public statement on social media regarding the shows.

"To my friends in Iowa and Arkansas: I am fighting an infection that has knocked me down, but I’m slowly but surely getting better. My doctors advised me to rest, so I have made the difficult decision to reschedule these shows listed."

All of us here are hoping that she takes the time she needs to get back on her feet and back out on the road!
