Iowa Oktoberfest This Friday & Saturday – Downtown Waterloo
This past summer the Cedar Valley celebrated it's Irish heritage during Iowa Irishfest, and now this weekend, everyone can honor their German heritage during the inaugural "Iowa Okotoberfest".
Join your friends and family for the first-ever "Iowa Oktoberfest" in downtown Waterloo this Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th, 2019. Admission to the event will be FREE and will highlight live German music, food and games! All the fun will be happening around Anton’s German Bier Garden and Newton’s Paradise Café on East 4th Street. Hangout in the four beer and food gardens and check out the fun contests like Hammerschlaggen, Stein Hoist, Kubb, Corn Hole (bags!), and Keg Rolling; along with Best Beard and Beer Belly competitions! Plus, enjoy beer and pretzel specials throughout the festival, too!
