Two Cresco men, apparently wanted for several thefts in Northeast Iowa, have been arrested in Bremer County.


On Monday (Sept. 23), Bremer County Deputies pulled ovar a vehicle on Highway 63.

The driver, 28 year old Scott Simonds, as well as his passenger, 27 year old Shelby Henry, both of Cresco, had active arrest warrants in Bremer County for theft incidents.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the vehicle on suspicion of fraudulent activity.
Simonds and Henry are being charged with 5th Degree Theft, however they are also wanted by several surrounding agencies for similar charges.

More charges are expected to be filed against both men.
