Easter is Sunday, April 17th, and Lenten season is in full swing. Whether you are Catholic or just love a good ol' fish fry, here are some places you can meet your family and friends and enjoy some tasty fish!

Several area organizations and churches are holding their annual fish fries on Friday nights during Lent. The best part? All of them are allowing dine-in service once again. The worst part? Most of the fish fry organizers are "sweating" the supply chain and are hoping there will be enough fish to go around

American Legion Becker-Chapman Post 138 - - 728 Commercial St., in Waterloo featuring baked or deep-fried fish and broasted chicken each Friday night through April 15th from 5:00 pm to 7:30pm. $13 for an all-you-can-eat fish and broasted chicken buffet. Kids 7 & under are $5 and kids under 2 are free. Veterans and their spouses can enjoy a $2 discount with proper I.D..

Moose Lodge #328 - 6636 La Porte Rd. in Washburn. All-you-can-eat fish for $15, includes fish and a homemade salad buffet. Serving from 5:00pm to 7:00pm every Friday during Lent.

Carl Letney Evansdale Amvets Post 31  - 706 Colleen Ave. in Evansdale. All-you-can-eat fish fry for $12 per person. March 25, April 1 and April 15 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Fraternal Order of Eagles #764 - 202 E. 1st St. in Waterloo. Every Friday during Lent from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. $12 for all-you-can-eat fish or a 6-piece shrimp or $15 for a 10-piece shrimp (shrimp is not all-you-can eat) There's also karaoke by "Easy Does It" from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

Amvets Riders Post 49 - 1934 Irving St. in Cedar Falls. All-you-can-eat fish for $13. Dine-in or take-out. The meal includes baked potato, french fries, coleslaw, along with homemade dessert. 5:30pm to 8pm or until the fish is gone. Friday night, March 25th, and April 1st. All proceeds go towards helping veterans.

Knights of Columbus-St. Patrick's Catholic Church  - 705 Main St. in Cedar Falls. Every Friday during Lenten season - Enjoy in-person and take-out meals. The cost is $14 for adults, $6 for children and those under 6 years of age are free. The hours are 5:00pm to 7:00pm.  Each meal will include baked fish, fried fish, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, coleslaw, rolls, beverages, and dessert.

St. Mary's Greene & Roseville - 105 N. Main St. in Greene. Held in the St. Mary's Church basement. Don't miss their annual Lenten Fish Fry, dine-in or carry-out from 5pm to 7pm or until gone. March 25th and April 1st. Serving codfish fillets, party potatoes, baked beans, chips, salad bar, rolls and a drink for $12 for adults, students are $6 and kindergarten and under are free.
