Fayette County Woman Wins Thousands In Lottery
An Oelwein woman has won a sizeable chunk of change from the Iowa Lottery.
Karen Clendenen has won the top prize of $30,000 in the "Honey Money" scratch game.
There are a total of 10 top prizes in the game, and Clendenen's was the fourth.
She bought her ticket at the Oelwein Fareway, and claimed her prize Monday at the Iowa Lottery Regional office in Cedar Rapids.
"Honey Money" is a $3 scratch game, with overall odds of winning a prize of 1 in 3.68.
