Erratic Driver Found, Arrested in NE Iowa

The Fayette County Sheriff has arrested an Iowa City man after getting a report of erratic driving.

Just before 5pm Thursday, authorities received a tip on a vehicle traveling erratically on Highway 150, north of Fayette. A deputy found and stopped the vehicle; the officer discovered the driver, 19 year old Terry Wallace, was operating with a suspended license.

Wallace was then booked into the Fayette County jail.

At about 10:30pm Thursday, A Fayette County deputy encountered an apparent intoxicated man at a gas station in the city of Fayette.

The suspect, 53 year old Daniel Pagel of Fayette, was arrested for public intoxication and OWI first offense. He was held overnight.
