Two more north east Iowa drivers advanced to the 2016 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals finals set for Saturday, September 10. A local driver took a wild ride while trying to qualify.

Austin Schrage (Cresco, IA) took the win in the first of two IMCA SportMod qualifying A-Main Tuesday at the Boone Speedway. Schrage joins Tyler Soppe (Sherrill, IA), Dan Drury (Eldora, IA), and Danny Dvorak (Vinton, IA) who qualified on day one of the Super Nationals.

Matt White (Nashua, IA) finished third during the Hobby Stock qualifying A-Main on night two, and that finish puts him into Saturday's main event. Benji Irvine (Oelwein, IA) and Leah Wroten (Independence, IA) qualified for Saturday on night one of the Super Nationals.

During day two's action, Dvorak and Irvine also qualified for the 'Race of Champions' in their respective divisions. Those events are a part of the Saturday racing line-up at the Boone Speedway.

Joshua Barnes was crowned the IMCA SportCompact 2016 Speedway Motors Super Nationals champion on Tuesday.

Independence, IA driver Jim Ball Jr. took a wild ride while trying to qualify for Tuesday's IMCA Hobby Stock qualifying A-Main.
