2020-21 Iowa High School Boys Basketball Rankings

Here is the latest Iowa High School boys basketball poll, released Monday afternoon by the Associated Press.

Five teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the fifth rankings of the season.

Cedar Falls (6-0) regained the top spot in Class 4A after beating Cedar Rapids Prairie 84-48 last week. The Tigers replaced Waukee, which suffered a one-point loss to Johnston Friday night.

Dike-New Hartford (8-1) made a big jump in the Class 2A survey, climbing from No. 8 to No. 3 in the past week. The Wolverines replaced North Iowa Cedar League East Division rival Denver, which fell to No. 6 after Friday's 75-61 loss at Wapsie Valley. The Cyclones (9-1) play at Dike-New Hartford Tuesday night.

North Fayette Valley (9-0) is one of seven newcomers to the four-class poll. The unbeaten TigerHawks debuted at No. 8.

Despite beating Denver, Wapsie Valley fell three spots in the Class 1A rankings. The Warriors (6-2) dropped from No. 6 to No. 9 following a one-point loss to Sumner-Fredericksburg Friday night.
