Car Slides Off Road and Collides with Utility Pole

A Strawberry Point motorist escaped injury but her vehicle wasn't so lucky, when it slid off a snow-coated highway and collided with a utility pole.
The accident happened last Wednesday, north of Clermont on Highway 18.

A car driven by 17 year old Jade Stevens, was southbound, when she lost control on the snow-covered road.

The car slid into the ditch, where it struk and electric utility pole.

No one was injured, but the 2007 Chevy Impala was totaled.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
