Area Man Hurt, Pickup Totaled When it Crashed into a Tree

The Fayette County Sheriff received two 911 calls reporting an accident, which sent a West Union man to the hospital.

It happened at about 6:20am last Tuesday (Nov. 19) on Juniper Road, south of Great River Road, north of West Union. 21 year old Trevor Teslow was driving a pickup, northbound on Juniper, when he lost control, due to the slick road conditions.

The pickup slid off the road, entered a ditch, and struck a tree. Teslow was taken to Palmer Hospital in West Union, with minor injuries. His 2010 Chevrolet Silverado was totaled.

The accident is being investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff.
